Ikea Way.....

I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas! I had a great time and have definitely enjoyed my time off from school! I have one last week of break until it's on to another semester! 

I just got back from my first trip to IKEA! I am in love! I loved IKEA before and now I can't even get enough of it! I wish I had one closer! A couple of my friends and I ventured 6 hours Friday to get to Twin Cities, MN.  That is the closest IKEA to us! We had a ton of fun!  I was so overwhelmed when we first went. Everything I saw..I WANTED!  I am very glad we had a couple days..therefore I could really decide what I wanted.

I ended up purchasing a TON of stuff....TOBO TV unit (It was on SALE!), wine holders, bedding, chairs, candles, a mirror, a rug, lamps of all kinds, storage boxes, coffee table and end tables, KATRIN fabric..the list could go on-I can't remember everything.  We had four carts piled to the top along with a cart with furniture.  I was really scared to see the total....it was high..but in all honesty I expected it to be so much more! That is why I love IKEA!! 

So, I already can't wait to go back and make my next trip.....

Should Be Studying...

The title says it all..I should be studying for my Final Wednesday. Instead, I'm curled up with my Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha from Starbucks..wasting time on-line! Did I mention how nasty the weather is here...Freezing Rain! Yuck! 

So, I am making my first trip to IKEA over break. I am so excited! I have purchased many things online, but have never made the trip. The closest one to me..is about 6 hours away! Here are a few things that I must buy.....

I love this TV stand! It will go great with my new TV too! 

And this...Oh my! The minute I saw this it screamed.."Laura"! I LOVE it! I'm going to save it and wait until I move to my new place in the fall...

I want to get many more things...but I couldn't begin to list them all. I am also sure I will come across so many items that I haven't even seen online! Oh..It's going to be Heaven! :) 

I never had a chance to post a picture of my kitchen.  I am so tired of the 'wine' theme. My roommate currently moved out-and it was her idea for the whole thing. I'm ready for something new. However, it will probably have to wait until I move somewhere new in the Fall. Any ideas of something cute that I can use with my current furniture?

Well, I better get back to studying. I have one final left..that is it. Then I'm off for an entire month! I cannot wait! Wish me luck!

So, it didn't take me as long as I thought. I just couldn't wait to show you some better pictures. So here you go.  As I stated earlier..I live in a small apartment..(I am a college student).  I would love to rip out the ugly cabinets and carpet and lights..the list could go on-but I can't! 

Here is a big view of the living room.  The tree is white with white lights and silver ornaments. I wish I would have used some red ornaments like MYMODSTYLE --I am also jealous of her tree skirt as well! 

A newbie to all of this!

So, this is the first time I have ever had one of these 'blog' things.  I love reading everyone's so I decided to try it out for myself.  I should be studying for my Anatomy and Physiology Lab Practical (Final) tomorrow..instead I'm playing around on the computer!! 

I wanted to share some pictures of my newly decorated Christmas tree.  It is the first year I have EVER liked white Christmas Trees.  I think it's because it matches the living room-who knows! But I love it! 

Better pictures will come soon. This one looks really blurry.  If I get some studying done-I may share some other pictures of my SMALL college apartment!
